Pyper

Age: 5 yrs

Breed: Golden Retriever

Pyper is an affectionate & intelligent golden. She is not very big... about 45-50 lbs & 21 inches. She loves curling up beside us while we are busy indoors. She is quiet natured, but absolutely loves to be outdoors exploring with us or just going for a walk. She is a beautiful dog, not over excitable & always loyal. She is our pet, so she has not been trained for sport tasks, but is manner trained, leads politely & follows at heel obediently. She can be somewhat shy, but is generally friendly with strangers & not aggressive. She is not a noisy barker. She requires periodic brushing, has a flat neat coat which does shed, like most goldens. She is great mother, but happily allows us access to them from they day they are born.

Age: 3 years

Breed: American Cocker Spaniel

Remi is a constant companion and cuddlebug. He is 25 lbs & 15 inches tall. He spends most of his time on or near someone's lap. That said, he is always excited to go out for a walk, drive or hike and bursting with the usual happy cocker spaniel energy. He is obedient on his leash & intelligent. He is also opinionated, though not aggressive, about anyone who "invades" & will bark at home, to "protect" us, but has learned not to do so in public places. Although his breed is a sport breed as well, his purpose is to be our pet. He is a flat coated dog, with very soft fur on his ears & legs which needs daily combing to keep his fur untangled. As far as cocker spaniels go, he is fairly low maintenance and does not need shaving to maintain a clean, neat appearance.
